Uttar
In the studio there is a rich cross pollination between my various series of work in encaustic and other mediums. Thus emerged this group of Uttar paintings inspired by the overlays of color in the gouache-on-paper Joss series, which was itself inspired by the layers of transparency and translucency of the earlier Uttars.
