Vicolo
As I work among three ongoing series, I find myself in a fertile field. While each series remains discrete—the grid-referenced Uttar, the channeled Vicolo, the reductive Silk Road—the repetition of singular elements is the common ground, along with saturated and translucent color built up or scraped back into a surface that is tactile to the eye and fingertip.
